My final grad class at Michigan State University required me to put together a blog and gave instructions for doing so on Edublogs.org, a site for educators.
I found that the manageability of the Edublogs site was not nearly as simple as Blogger.com. This site set up much more easily and was ready for me to get started just like that. Maybe time will tell, but at this point in terms of usability, edublogs:0, blogger:1.
